A Guide to the Automated Comps
Competitions are an optional part of The Kennel with benefits:
- Dog points to boost future competing and breeding quality.
- Owner points which can be exchanged for items in the Item Shop.
To compete, your dog must:
- not be a female whelping that week.
- have a leash equipped.
Watch for threads in the Secundi Market for the open registrations, bonus events, and results.
Scoring is done by random number generator added to any bonuses you might earn:
The pre-scoring item grab: We sometimes hold fast events prior to scoring. You watch and follow the instructions in the thread to earn these points.
Past competition points: Per every 5 points your dog has earned in past competitions, you earn +1.
Past class winner: If your dog has ever won a ribbon in that class before, you earn +1.
Bonus Items: If you have equipped the item particular to that class, you earn +1.
