"Could be a false feeling... probably is," Damael muttered, trailing his fingers along the wall as he pattered along.
Calm followed along beside, "You keep saying that. And yet Chancey is definitely babbling on about a spot."
"Could be wrong."
"You want you and Chancey to be wrong?"
"Well we definitely don't need a fourth child," Damael sighed.
"Well there's that option with moving in Kai for a nanny type sitter person, right? Where are you going?" Calm noticed this was not the way to the kitchen.
"To see if Tanji can tell me if it's a false feeling or not. He can read energies," Damael pattered up to Death's door and knocked softly.
The Reaper answered, raising an eyebrow first at Calm, and then at Damael.
"Is Tanji here?"
"He is," Death stepped back, opening the door further for them to enter. He returned to his desk where he was grading schoolpapers.
Tanji put his notebook down on the bed beside him and crawled down to the foot of the bed, "Hey Damy, whatcha doin?"
"Came for a pregnancy test, actually," Damael stammered a little, fidgeting his hands together in front of him.
"Really? Last one who came asked Death," Tanji grinned, bouncing up. "Ya wanna see?"
"It's not necessary... really, since I know it hurts you... and is very early if I am, so nothing to really see."
"Okie," Tanji tossed his hair back and slipped his headband off, his third eye open beneath it, unable to shut down of late. The golden light flared and changed the shadow effects in the room. "Got you... and down here... there's another... wait... what the..?"
"What is it?" Calm was immediately on alert.
"Well there's definite one, so ya pregnant... but gettin an odd echo or summat... could be... Death?"
Death glanced over his shoulder, "Myself, Tanji, Calm, Damael... and more than one new soul is present."
"More than one?" Calm blinked.
"More... than... like twins?" Damael staggered backwards, caught in Calm's quick embrace.
"Yeah, like twins, could be. I can't tell, could be an echo to me, is too early like ya said, not hardly a week. Didn't think you were breeding again."
"I keep getting told that," Damael rubbed his forehead with both hands, letting Calm stay supporting him.
"Heh, twins..." Calm whispered, then grinned, "Ha! Twins."
"From shocked to proud in two point five seconds," Tanji slipped the headband back on and sat down before he fell down from the exertion of using the Jagan.
"I'm staying shocked for awhile, thanks," Damael burrowed against Calm's chest.
"Oyoy, go lay down? Take it in?"
"While you go yell to the household?" Tanji snickered.
"Yeah something like that, come on Moonlight," Calm tugged Damael back out the door, closing it behind him.
Death glanced over his shoulder again, at the door, and then at Tanji.
Tanji grinned back at him, "You said more than one."
"Indeed."
"Didn't say how many."
"No, I did not. Believe more than one is enough extra news for now," the Reaper went back to grading papers.
"Mhmm, quite," Tanji smirked and crawled back up the bed to get back to work.
