Reikai
The Spirit World
Reikai is the world above and beyond the human world, where departed human souls travel for judgement.
Reikai is also where gods and goddesses dwell and have councils concerning the other worlds. They often have emissaries and agents on these other worlds to make sure things go as planned. Very little escapes the watching eyes of Reikai.
Beings of Reikai have a different sort of magic called Rei-ki, as opposed to the you-ki of the Demon World. This magic can manifest itself in various ways, and often agents of Reikai are given certain gifts and abilities with Rei-ki to better serve their purposes.
Some of the best known agents of Reikai are the spirit guides which come upon the death of a mortal to guide the soul to the Palace of Judgement for proper processing.
