A Faette is a smaller type of FaeKind. Do not confuse them with Faequine foals! These are fully grown miniatures. Faettes are rather like the Shetland pony of Faequines. They are small, live in mountain regions, and have an abundance of hair and feathers to keep warm. They're also energetic and very friendly to humans. Due to size differences, Faettes are not breedable with other Faequines. They do get along well together though. Faettes come in all the standard types that Faequines do, unicorn, pegasus, etc. There have even been sightings of Wolf and other special types of Faettes. It is believed that Faettes were at one time pure Faequines. However, some cross-breeding led to them shrinking in size. As such, they are usually less pure than Faequines in all inherent Fae abilities. Faettes often do not have elements and very few have any but the most limited of magical powers.
