Faekind believe in two major dieties - who are beyond description as any "type" of Faequine, and it is blasphemy to attempt to do so. These two Faes are children of the Mother Earth and Father Sun. Una, the "female" is the embodiment of darkness, earth, water, stability and most other things feminine. Ien, the "male" is the embodiment of light, air, fire, change and most other things masculine. Elementals and Unifications are direct creations of Una and Ien, and all faekind descend at least in part from them. The Shrine on Fifth Peak is believed to be the embodiment of a very powerful child of Una and Ien, their first, who stayed there for so long sending messages to her parents from earthly faes that she turned into a tree.
