Knowledge is the key. Without knowledge and direction all the power in the world is useless. Not only do each one of us have a purpose, but also knowledge to be gained. The Good Book says that all we take with us after death is our knowledge and I trust in that. Understanding is the path to heaven.
Sometimes the universe works in ways we cannot comprehend, and one of these ways is Antony. He has got to be the most confusing and complicated personality I have ever met. He is more changeable than the wind. He has lived such a long and interesting life, and I don't believe he appreciates this. He needs to stop and realize the lessons he's gone through, that would make him truly powerful. His close-mindedness annoys me to no end, and his sarcasm is going to get him killed someday.
Draco, I doubt there is anyone more dear to me. He has been a great many things to me, the one who started it all by instilling in me his faith and knowledge. Without a doubt he is the most powerful among us simply because of his great understanding and his conviction.
Serpent, my first student, my most beloeved brother. He is innocence given flesh for all of use to aspire to become. But from teaching him, spending time with him, I come to realize that perfect innocence is perhaps not true perfection. Perhaps it is truly the struggle, the enduring of it, that leads to perfection.
Speaking of struggle and endurance, there is no greater test than Fire and Hellborn. It takes all I have to contain them, keep them under my protection so they do no harm to humanity or to themselves. Their severe passion and desire for a freedon makes it hard for me to keep them, but it is my duty as their elder brother, that freedom could very well be their end. They weary me, but I love them dearly and surely even if I have given up on changing their destructive ways there must be something that can de done to save them. Yes I gave up on teaching them myself, my patience isn't that damn good, but I refuse to give up on that goodness deep within them.
Topaz is dangerous, purely dangerous. I cannot comprehend how there could be any good or purpose to her, but perhaps that is my failing, my need for learning. Garnet and Draco continue to have hope for her. She has such severe intelligence and yet such a dark soul. She has that same passion of Fire and Hellborn, but an even darker attitude. I cannot understand her purpose.
Garnet is truly a wonderful blessing. She is as good natured and loving as anyone can be. She reminds us that love is a powerful force, keeping Draco alive and giving him a renewed sense of purpose, driving him to care for those we had long ago stopped trying to teach. Fire needs to thank Garnet for Draco now teaching him. Even with all her sweetness on the outside, she isn't perfect. She has struggles and lessons to learn, which makes her even more endearing. Garnet is a beauty, a fine finishing touch on our quest for salvation.
